Hello, fall! Autumn is hands down my favorite season. Colder temperatures, cozy oversized sweaters, and bonfires are some things I look forward to at this time of year. The cooler weather begs me to reach for warm, soothing beverages over my usual iced lattes. One of my go-to fall drinks is my so-called easy and quick hot caramel apple cider.
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces of apple cider
- 1 tablespoon of caramel syrup - I'm hooked on Caramel Kitchen Cinnamon Vanilla Caramel Sauce
- Whipped cream
- A sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg
Directions:
- In a saucepan, heat up 8 ounces of apple cider (until steaming but not boiling)
- Pour the warmed cider into a mug. Then add 1 tablespoon of caramel syrup and stir well.
- Top with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and sprinkle a little cinnamon and nutmeg on top
Makes a single serving.
There you have it, my absolute favorite fall beverage. I love having this one when I go camping (glamping) during the fall and winter seasons. Now it's your turn. Let me know what your favorite fall drink is or beverage recipe.
